The Creators of the Bored Ape Yacht Club Launch a New Skill-based Mint Dubbed ‘Dookey Dash’

Yuga Labs, founders of the infamous Bored Ape Yacht Club, announced the launch of their latest creation: Dookey Dash, a skill-based mint and game that has already done more than $20 million in secondary sales.

The game, set to take place between January 19, 2023, and February 8, 2023, is an endless runner-style game where players collect items called fragments and attempt to score as many points as possible.

Players must have a Sewer Pass to play the game, which can only be claimed by BAYC and MAYC holders. However, those without a BAYC or MAYC NFT can still play by purchasing a Sewer Pass from a holder. The game’s controls are simple and involve using a trackpad or mouse or finger on mobile.

Players can also use a Powershart Pack, which can be purchased for 2 APE and adds a boost to their score, such as reducing the cooldown for the Dash move, adding a bonus percentage to their score, or increasing the frequency of rare fragments.

Scores will be tracked and frozen on February 8, 2023, and on February 15, 2023, players’ Sewer Passes will be eligible to transform into something new. The player with the highest score will receive the ultimate power source, and in the case of a tie, the player who got the highest score first will receive the key.
