Solana Wallet ‘Phantom’ Plans to Support Ethereum & Polygon Blockchains
Phantom wallet, known by many as the ‘friendly Solana wallet,’ announced today that they plan to roll out support for the Ethereum and Polygon blockchains.
Phantom grew in popularity as the wallet of choice for the Solana community during the last bull run when projects like Okay Bears, DeGods, y00ts, and more saw all-time highs. They also raised nearly $120M in funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, Paradigm, and the Solana Foundation.
“We are excited to bring the Phantom experience to the wider web3 community,” said Brandon Millman, CEO and co-founder of Phantom. “In the same way people don’t switch web browsers to access different websites, we believe web3 needs one wallet to access what you need seamlessly.”
Millman noted that the new Ethereum and Polygon integrations are live in beta mode, with a planned public launch set for the first quarter of 2023. Users can collect NFTs, send and receive crypto, and trade & swap tokens directly in the wallet across all three blockchains.
