M&Ms Partners with Universal Music Groups Bored Ape NFT Band Kingship

On Wednesday, Universal Music Group’s notorious NFT band KINGSHIP announced an official collaboration with legendary candy maker Mars to create limited edition Bored Ape Yacht Club themed M&M’s.

@TheRealKingship is a supergroup consisting of rare Bored Apes and a rare Mutant Ape named Captain (vocals, bass), KING (lead vocals), Arnell (beats, drums, producer), and Hud (guitar, keys and vocals). KINGSHIP was created by @1022pm and is supported by a team including Grammy Award-winning record producers and artists, a celebrity animator @idrawanimation and well-respected founders Jimmy McNelis known by the community as @j1mmy.eth .

“KINGSHIP is all about inclusivity and paying homage to rock ‘n’ roll legends. Their rider, which is a list of items the group requests to have backstage, always includes M&M’S chocolate candies of all colors. To honor their rider, M&M’S is releasing three limited edition products. These exclusive packs include custom printed candies with Captain, KING, Arnell, & Hud in all six colors of M&M’S.”

The Gold edition, the rarest version, comes in a white and gold foil gift box and includes custom printed candies with KINGSHIP group members Captain, KING, Arnell, and Hud in individually numbered boxes from 1 to 100. M&M’S will also produce 3,900 exclusive celebratory gift boxes in Brown. Additionally, 6,000 gift jars of candies will be available in the U.S. for a limited time.
