LG Partners With Startup Oorbit to Offer Smart Tv Users Access to Metaverse Gaming

On Wednesday, tech giant LG announced its partnership with cloud-based technology platform @OorbitOnline to bring interoperable gaming and social experiences directly to LG Smart TVs.

The collaboration makes it simpler for users to interact with the metaverse by enabling viewers to explore interoperable virtual worlds, concerts, and AI-based multiplayer games in their living rooms.

“Our proprietary technology is the connective tissue that links virtual worlds together and makes it easy for developers and brands to bring their experiences into the metaverse. Scaling our technology for millions of LG TV customers is the next step in making the metaverse accessible for all,” said Pooya Koosha, co-founder and chief technology officer of Oorbit.
